What is this?
Community guide for running Linux on the PlayStation 5 (Phat/Slim models only).
Uses patched HV vulnerabilities to boot a full Linux desktop. Internal SSD is untouched - you can still use PS5 OS normally.
Currently documented: PS5 Phat/Slim, FW 3.00–7.61
Whether higher firmware or PS5 pro model will ever be supported - we genuinely don't know, and we don't want to jinx anything.

Important Notice regarding PlayStation 5 Firmware Compatibility
If your console is presently running a firmware version that is beetween 6.02-7.61 (ex. 6.50, 7.00, 7.60, etc), you have two options:
- Maintain your current version and await a dedicated software port.
- Update your system directly to firmware version 7.61 to ensure immediate compatibility.
